DESCRIPTION:njnjnjConstruction workers working in NYC are required to have 40 hours of Site Safety Training (SST) as per NYC Local Law 196 of 2017.  This training includes 30 hours of OSHA training withing the last 5 years and 10 additional hours of training consisting of two courses 8 hrs of Fall Prevention and 2 hours of Mental Health Awareness.  This one day training includes both courses. \n  \n8 HOUR FALL PREVENTION (SST-307) \nThis training covers fall hazards\, ladder safety\, scaffold safety\, fall protection\, NYC chapter 33\, section 3315.1 \n2 HOUR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS (SST-308) \nThe topics include NYC Local /law 196 of 2017 and  NYC Local Law 10 of 2026\, substance use awareness\, tobacco and Ncotine\, Suicide prevention\, What is Mental Health\, resources \n  \nDelivery method: In-person (187 Lafayette st\, Newark\, NJ ) \nLanguage: Spanish \n  \nLos trabajadores de la construcción en la ciudad de Nueva York deben completar 40 horas de capacitación en seguridad en el lugar de trabajo (SST\, por sus siglas en inglés)\, conforme a la Ley Local 196 de 2017 de la ciudad de Nueva York.
