This course is a requirement for an individual to supervise the hoisting or lowering of materials into a crane.

Introduction to Cranes and Derricks; Crane and Rigging Incidents; NYC Code Review; NYC Department of Buildings regulations; NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) codes, rules, regulations, operating procedures; Basic building design; Inspection of cranes and ropes; Maintenance and repair of cranes and ropes; Crane setup; Reading load charts; Signaling; Lifting and lowering loads; Operational aids and safety devices; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); Crane and Derrick Safety Protocols and Emergency procedures; Rigging requirements.

Training will be in ENGLISH.
