This course is a requirement for those who use or work in a supported scaffold in NYC.

Topics covered:

Introduction to supported scaffolds; Supported scaffolds accidents; OSHA 1926 overview; NYC Construction codes overview

NYC Department of Buildings overview; General principles of Fall Protection; Personal Protective Equipment & Fall Arrest Systems; Supported Scaffold use; Supported Scaffold inspections

Students will need to pass a multiple choice assessment with 70% correct. Upon satisfactory completion of course a certificate will be issued and uploaded to Training Connect, a NYC DOB platform.

The student will also be able to get their Worker’s Wallet, a purple card in Training Connect.
